My art is music editing…intuitively deconstructing and reconstructing a composer’s sketches to shape a film’s score, connect with characters’ emotions, and build a thematic arc. That same instinct led me from Philadelphia to New York and to Sound One, the place that changed my life and shaped my career. Sound One: A Love Letter is expanding my creative practice into co-directing, combining problem-solving with intuition to tell a story that honors the community Bill Nisselson and Elisha Berenbaum built. My goal is to inspire the next generation to create the kind of collaborative space we had, while balancing this work with my ongoing career in music editing,  bringing every ounce of my artistry into making this film.
