My career in film sound spans from the analog days of the early ’80s to today’s digital era, across both documentaries and features, and I’ve always sought to go beyond the technical, using sound to connect audiences to the deeper meaning of a film. Now, as a director, I’m shaping sound and image from inception, bringing decades of experience to tell the story of a community that no longer exists. Having spent formative years at Sound One, I have a deep love for the studio and the people who made it extraordinary. This project aims to illuminate the craft for both insiders and newcomers, creating a moving testament to the artistry and legacy of Sound One.
